Which do you prefer? I thought I was more of a zapper than a swatter, but it's maddening to try to actually get the fly with that thing! It is such a rush, however, to watch the spark that occurs when the annoying pest meets its doom. If I really want the fly dead quickly, I think I will swat the conventional way. If I'm feeling sadistic and need to blow off some much needed steam from my day with 4 children.........I'll get 'er done as "The Executioner".

i have yet to get a fly with the electro-swatter...not for lack of trying.
I think I still have a scar from a fly swatter, if not physically, definitely mentally. We don't have one; I doubt I'd be comfortable having one around. Much more handy to my grandparents than a switch, I never knew they were for actually swatting flies.
Oh, by the way...I read your story on Publix.
