Tonight's family prayer time (prior to bedtime):
Emily (age 2 1/2): "Dear Jesus, skank you for 'dis day and skank you for 'dis food, Amen."
Lauren (age 4): "Thank you for this day and be with our missionaries, Amen."
Michael (age 7): "Father God in heaven, thank you for this day. Be with our soldiers who are fighting to defeat Rocko Mama (Barack Obama)...(Chuckle from mom and dad ensues)....'stop laughing' (says Michael)....and help them to come home safe, Amen." :)

That is too too cute. I love the Rocko Mama. One of my sister's students this year called him Orack Rabama. What a great heart for the soldiers too. May they defeat Rocko Mama!

Your 7 year old is a GENIUS.
And how precious is it that your 2.5'er will pray aloud? 'Cause mine does this, "I wanna pray to Jesus." I reply, "OK, let's pray..." And I wait. She then says, "No you pray...AMEN!"
